History of Film and Television.... as boring as it may sound, I think that this is the most interesting module that I have experienced this year....
Not to flatter Ms Kwa or anything... but... I feel its really cool to discuss about stuff that you really like after a long day of.... study?
But somehow I feel rather inadequet... Just today, there were two guys behind me... err...... kindof like forgot their names.... so anyhow... I'll just refer them to two guyz...
They were discussing really REALLY difficult stuff that I've never even heard Mr Loh nor Ms Kwa used before....
It kinda scared me.....
They dicussed camara angles in PROPER terms and grammer, they commented about visual effects and discussed HOW TO CREATE THEM...
It was all very nerve wrecking... but... Good for them I guess... They will be good directors next time...
The projects are starting to phase into reality.... and nightmares will soon become real horrors...
But ah well.... Like all HOLLY WOOD classics, there are ALWAYS happy endings to every show...
But... Psycho's 'happy ending' was still quite disturbing...
We're going to be changing groups really soon...
Needless to say.. I'm kind of apprehensive... I'm scared that I might not be able to communicate as well as my present group...
And most of all.. I'm scared that I might be more lonely then ever....
But one thing is for sure... I will definately work... No matter even if I have to work alone and create a whole project out of scratch... I will finish it....
Long-term planner? Call me short sighted... I still love and miss my groupy alot...
I was looking at the "mini clips" and advertisements that our seniors put up... Some were pretty good, and some were mildly impressive...
(Note: I was NOT impressed one bit with XiaXue's mini clip. Read: NOT IMPRESSED)
However, I was definately impressed by the No Smoking Campaign ad done by one of my seniors... The idea was definately great.. It deserved a straight distinction for creativity in my opinion at least...
I noticed that most of the clips liked to employ the technique of slowing the frame rate to create the "Matrix" effect.... It was nice at first, but it became tacky after awhile....
I wanna join the Cold Storage retail experiance thing.. anybody wanna join me?
